Wrapping up 4H

Homeschoolers everywhere are starting to wrap up their school year, which also means wrapping up the extra activities also.  Today was our last 4H Meeting.  We are *hoping* that we are able to pull off having the club next year, but it's still up in the air.

Since today was the day before the Fashion and Fine Arts Night, the leader decided that our last meeting would be more public speaking practice.  She explained to them that the judges also make notes about the way the kiddos introduce themselves.  Mrs. C passed out some simple quotes and poems and had the kiddos go before the group, state their name and their piece, recite it - loud and clear- and then say thank you and bow.  She even made the adults do it!!!

The kiddos all got a big kick out of the adults having to get up in front of the group! I was surprised to see some of the creativity that the kiddos had!!!
