CREW: Artisit Pursuits

We have never been that into any art curriculum... I mean, the kiddos like to draw, paint and use all different mediums when they are doing so, but we have never had formal art.

Through the Crew, we were given the opportunity to review a program for Artistic Pursuits.  We chose to start with The Element of Art and Composition for grades 4-6.  When it came in the mail, the kiddos were super excited about it!  Since it is written for the kiddos and they can pretty much do it on their own, they were ready to get started on it.

The kiddos have really enjoyed using this book and we have art work stuck EVERYWHERE!   We have not completed the program, because they are only using this twice a week.  It has been a great addition to our day! I am thinking if they finish up this book, we will be going back for the next book for next year.

I would also like to add that I had quite a bit of email conversation before we got the actual product and I was very impressed with customer service at Artistic Pursuits.

**Disclaimer ~ We were given this product free of charge in exchange for this review on my blog.  There are other reviews and opinions of this product at the link above.

  1. I believe art is a beautiful thing especially for children. My teenage son has attended Parson School of Design - weekend classes for animation and he is now enrolled in an Art Charter Hight School for Archiecture and Design.
Art gives them a chance to express themselves.
