Samantha's Speech

I know that it has been a while since I mentioned anything about what all was going on with Samantha.  We managed to get her in to the local school and get her tested right before Christmas holidays, and the speech therapist called me the middle of January and set up a meeting.  She does qualify for 60  minutes of speech and they will be able to provide it at the local elm school.  She had her first session last week, then missed the second one because of ice. 

She came home with some things to practice and we worked on those last week and I sat in with her during one of the sessions this week to see what they were doing.  So far, lots of s-s-s-s-s and t-t-t-t-t and ts-ts-ts-ts.  The therapist keeps it fun and she seems to enjoy that.

Until we get into the other appointment, we will continue with the school.  She has a follow-up with the head speech person at ACH after she has been in speech for a few months - to see if things are working!
