Both kiddos ended up staying home last night, unlike they had originally planned. Rog came home and fixed breakfast this morning, and then we got him and Ry packed and ready to go down to deer camp to go turkey hunting with Granpa. After they left (about noon) me and Sis picked up Gramma and went out for some lunch.
After lunch, it was Sis' choice of what to do. She chose Artsy You first - a paint your own pottery place. She chose a horse, I picked out a butterfly and Gramma picked out a dolphin. Sis got finished a bit quicker than we did, so she also got a mini-cupcake that I can put a magnet on once it is fired.
From there, we went to a place called Kitte's Kreation's - a bead store -and Sis made a red and clear heart necklace with a dog bone on it (don't ask- that is what she wanted).
Gramma then ran in the store and picked up some steaks; and we went to her house - where BIL and my 3 nephews were and had dinner with them. Sis decided she wanted to stay there for the night. I came on home and am staying up long enough for my Amish Friendship Bread to finish baking.
Wow, it sounds like you had a pretty fun day! I love to take the kids to do craft stuff. We just did a ceramics thing not too long ago, and we all had a great time.
