Making Soap

Ok, here they are - we are finished making soap and we had fun.  I walked them thru the first batch, then Ry and Sis each took turns and made a batch themselves. They did everything alone - all I did was walk them thru the steps.  It would appear that we will be giving soap for gifts since I don't need hundred's of little frogs and turtle soaps around here!!!

 

FIRST WE PUT VASELINE ON THE MOLD SO IT WOULDN'T STICK:

 

THEN WE PUT THE GLYCERIAN BLOCKS IN THE BOWL AND INTO THE MICROWAVE:

 

AFTER WE PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE FOR 30 SECONDS, WE STIRRED:

 

THEN WE POURED IT INTO MOLDS:

 

AFTER IT COOLED AND SET UP FOR AN HOUR, WE POPPED THEM OUT OF THE MOLD:
