Review: Mentagy Mind Puzzle

We were given the option to use and review the newest mind game Mentagy!!

Of course, when the box came in, the kiddos were over excited about it.  Me, on the other hand, I was a little worried-  it looked REALLY confusing!

Upon further inspection, we were able to figure out HOW to play pretty quickly!  Mentagy is a square, wooden letter game, similar to Soduku. There are 26 letters of the alphabet and 10 blank tiles.  A puzzle book is included with tile placement.  Once you place the key letters, the object of the game is to get through the alphabet, with all of the letters connecting.

The puzzle book contains puzzle at several levels starting at easy working up to more challenging.  I was able to complete most of the easier ones, but once they started getting harder, I started struggling with them!  Well, I was able to do them, but they definitely were a little more challenging.  Samantha sat down with the game and while she wanted to play and get through it, she struggled with the first few puzzles she tried. She slowly figured it out, but she's not quite ready for the next level!!

Mentagy is available at Mentagy.com for $27.95 and the puzzle book available for $7.99.  While you're on the site ordering, you can also give it try online!
