One of our new Girl Scout Troops (Daisy, Brownie, Juniors) in the area, have a connection with the Freedom Riders. The troop was presented with a flag and she invited our troop to come and watch.
The Freedom Riders explained a bit about who they were, what they did, and some flag etiquette. The girls were maybe a little young, but I know that I personally thought it was great!
SO proud of Christie! She kinda fell into this position and has taken it and ran with it!
