Home School in the Woods- 20th Century America: SchoolHouse Review Crew

My kiddos have always been pretty hands-on.  We had done all sorts of lapbooks when they were younger, but it has been a while since we tackled any.  As part of the SchoolHouse Crew, we were given the opportunity to review a Lap-Pak from  Homeschool in the Woods.  My kiddos and I requested The 20th Century in America Lap-Pak.  WOW!  Is about all I can say for this!!  We have thoroughly enjoyed working on putting this together (we are not quite done with it yet).  There are 22 different lessons that each have a mini-book to make to go along with the lesson.  From there, all of the mini-books are placed into the folders to form a huge lapbook that covers many of the main events from the 20th Century.

The way this is designed, it could be used alone, but I think it could work best to either supplement a curriculum, or as a review.  I am pretty eclectic when it comes to curriculum, so we were able to pull off using it alone.  We have added research and read-alouds that went along with each topic, to be able to go more indepth with that topic.  (this is part of the reason that we are still working on it!  bunny trails!!).

Like any other lapbooks/Lap Books that are available, this can be done with children of all ages. The download is available for $21.95, or on a CD for $22.95

The 20th Century wasn't the only Lap Book that the Crew reviewed!  Great Empires and Composers were both also available ~ go check out the options!
