We weren't there at the time to see the weather balloon lift off, but since Isaac was in the gulf and hitting the islands, the weather services had updated their balloon launches to 4 times a day to keep an eye on what was happening in the states...
He was showing the kiddos how they come up with the spaghetti models for the hurricane tracking...
If you are interested even a smidge in the weather and clouds and such ~ this is a field trip you should look into!
