A total eclipse of the sun...

Too bad it is just plastic and not the real thing!  According to the web searches we did, it will be a while before we see a real one!  This will have to do for now! I'm not sure when or where this set up came from, but I have held onto it.. knowing that we would eventually need it!

We put a small dot on there to represent where we are.  It is not to scale - unless we call the dot Arkansas!

The sunshine was bright and there was a total eclipse, followed by a partial eclipse! (Please ignore the marshmallows in the background! They were part of a catapult experiment for Scouts).
