CREW: Family Mint
Family Mint is a free program that is designed to help you teach your kiddos about money management. As part of the Crew, we were asked to review the website.
Here at my house, we do not give the kiddos allowance. We feel they are part of the family, we shouldn't have to pay them to learn to clean up after themselves. When they are older and become a husband or a mom or even just live alone as an adult, no one will be paying them to do their dishes or laundry. It is just a part of life.
That being said, I do feel that the Family Mint program would be a great asset to any family that use money, or even any other token, as an allowance for their children. I liked the design of the website, it seems very user-friendly. It is just not something that we are currently in the need for, so this review was a hard one to write.
*Disclaimer ~ Family Mint allowed me access to the site free of charge in order for this review. Please check out the Crew link above for more reviews and opinions of this product.
