Ladies - please join me in prayers for a family.

A Little Rock Firefighter (where my hubby works) was hurt on the job Tuesday evening. He was battling a house fire, had just came outside and was spraying to protect the house next door when the chimney collapsed on top of him. Here are 3 different links to the story from our 3 local news channels.

Rog is on shift today (yes, I am worried sick about him!) and they went to visit him at the hospital first thing this morning. Rog said he looked bad, but his spirit was pretty good.  The nurse said she wanted to know who was taking care of the city b/c of all the ff's that have been thru there.

I called the hospital a bit ago and talked to his wife. She siad he looks bad, but is doing pretty good.  He had some reconstructive surgery on his face yesterday, he had a vision test this afternoon that came back great.  He has several broken bones - ribs, collar, ankle - that will all heal in time.  He has to have surgery on his ankle in 10 days or so.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers.  I will update as I learn more. I do know that they have small children, but don't know details.

Jason got to go home the weekend before Thanksgiving and the last Rog heard, he was doing ok.  He should be going back for surgery on his ankle this next week or so and I should hear something then.  I know the guys at the station took up a collection for the family.  Thank you all for your prayers.
