The girls attended their Program Aide training in November, but to complete the requirements for the pin, they need to earn a their LIA (Leadership In Action) patch. In order to do that, they have to work with a Brownie troop over four sessions.
We found a troop that my girls have enjoyed working with - the leaders are pretty neat - we have made it through three of the needed meetings, and the leaders have asked for us to help out at the next three.
Once they get through these four meetings, they still have to attend six more events that allows them to work with younger groups of scouts. They do have a couple of these taken care of already, but it's still a lot of work for them!
