We also made edible models of DNA that I saw somewhere on Pinterest. These were easy to make and not as gross... couldn't find colored marshmallows, so I had to go with plain white...

Edible Cell & DNA models
The kiddos are enjoying science this year. The jello cell was the experiment from lesson 1. It took me a while to get things gathered, and I still had to improvise on a few things, but the kiddos really enjoyed making this... And then eating it!!
We also made edible models of DNA that I saw somewhere on Pinterest. These were easy to make and not as gross... couldn't find colored marshmallows, so I had to go with plain white...
