Time 4 Learning is an online educational supplement, but can be used as a base curriculum. There are no contracts, it is a month by month set up. The cost is $19.95 per month for the first child and then $14.95 for each one after that.
From the parents view, it covers a fair span of grades - K-8th and has a nice variety of lesson plans. Language Arts, LA extensions, Math, Science & Social Studies. They also offer preK lesson plans and Algebra at 6th, 7th & 8th grade level.
Time 4 Learning has a suggested off-line reading list that goes along with the Language Arts extension lessons, and offers a supply list for the Science lessons, as well as some planning help with the lessons.
I was able to check their name and see when they were last on, and see what they were doing and how well they were doing. I did notice a place to make lesson plans, but we didn't get a chance to use that. They also have a progress report, so you can see how your child is doing with the lessons.
From the kiddos view, they enjoyed using Time 4 Learning. When they logged in and went to the lesson pages, they were able to tell if they had an assignment. They had the subject choices and from there, they had many choices on the actual topic they could choose from. Even from there, they had the different levels.
While we enjoyed Time 4 Learning, the kiddos had a lot of trouble with it. They have a safety thing on their computers and we had some issues getting them to be able to play the games. They were able to play if I logged on their laptops under my name, but they could not under their name, which caused them not to be able to access it as much as we would have liked to.
