Thursday ~

Today was a little more back on the path to normal.  We hung out here, did some school work and played. 

Roger was home and helped with dinner. We had Chicken Spaghetti and for the first time since Tueday afternoon, I was able to eat a bit.

Samantha and I had a Girl Scout meeting and most of it was spent on troop business.  We accomplished a lot of what we needed to accomplish and we were able to and move onto our project.  We have 'adpoted' a solider from our church.  He is in Iraq (well, he is home on R&R soon, but going back).  We will be sending him a package or two from the girls.  We stamped tonight. Thanks to my dear friend Melissa (we have known each other for a while, but she has become such a treasure as a friend to me) she brought all of her stamp stuff and let the girls stamp.  Once they got it 'out of their system' we gave them all some envelopes and let them decorate a few to send to him , so he would have some to send letters home. 

Once we were done with that, we closed the meeting and the girls all left, except Samantha and Melissa's dd -they played while we just chatted.  Neither of us have the 'girlfriends' so it was nice to have someone to have meaningless conversation with!

I am tired, and starting to destress, so I am going to bed.
