What awesome games!

We had a busy day today.  The kiddos had their school and Roger called me at 8:30 this morning to say he was already headed home. YES! at 8:30 in the morning...talk about throwing your entire day off kilter...

I sent him off to get some groceries (since we never made it last week!) That gave us some time to finish up our work.  As he was pulling up in the drive from getting some groceries, he got a call with the fire department.  He pulled in, honked (so we could come get the groceries) and jumped in the jeep and left.  We managed to get what school work we needed to finished completely while he was gone.

Upon his return, he talked me into helping him take the top off the Jeep.  He and the kiddos went around the block, then played catch in the front yard.

After dinner, Roger's softball team (he is playing on the church team) had a double header, one game at 6:30 and one at 8:30.  He was offering to find me a way home after the first game, so I could watch CSI Miami - it was the season premiere - and Horatio was down at the end of last season!!!  The first game was awesome, the team did great and we had some friends there cheering Rog and his team on, so the kiddos and I stayed.  The second game was just as great - especially the Grand Slam hit at the end, causing us to win the game!!

So, I got home in time to see the last 5 mintues of CSI- anyone want to share with me what happened? I mean, it was obvious that Horatio didn't die....come on...someone spill it!!
