Blogger Firend School Assignment #1

A. Give a brief introduction paragraph stating how you got started blogging and your personal goals for journaling.  I started blogging in June of 2005. I guess I was introduced to it by some of the ladies at Christian Homeschool Corner, and just jumped in and started blogging!  My goals for my blog - to document our school work and to allow friends and family to see what goes on here during a school day.

B. Share a 'dream place' to blog. This looks like a lovely place to blog....

C. Answer some questions:

1. What time do you usually blog? usually at night after the kiddos are in bed - I try to get as much of the day out as I can remember before they start running together.

2. What is your favorite drink? Dr. Pepper

3. What is your favorite book? do I have to chose just one? I love books -Love to read!!

4. What is your favorite dessert? 4 layer delight that my hubby makes

5 Share a scripture that has been an inspriation in your growth with Christ. "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."  Galations 6:9

  2. We have similar reasons for blogging. I am trying to get in the habit of keeping a daily record of our school days. Your dream spot looks so peaceful. It would certainly be a wonderful place to blog. It was nice "meeting" you and I look forward to visiting again through the school year. Have a wonderful day.

    Blessings,

    Meg

  4. Hi! Thanks for visiting my BFS post. We are doing FIAR this year with my 6yo (and of course the 2yo joins in) and we are really enjoying it. I wouldn't have thought my boys would enjoy Madeline, but so far it's been their fave! We have also done Mike Mulligan, Ping and Lentil. Right now we are rowing Katy and the Big Snow. I know how it is trying to find some of these books...I have had limited luck at the library and even on ebay they get a little expensive! I will definitely visit again. See 'ya soon. Julie
