CERT ~ First Aid, Light Search and Rescue and Wrapping up the class

I didn't get any photos of the First Aid Class.  It was more discussion than hands-on. 

The following class was Light Search and Rescue.  They learned how to use something for cribbing to lift objects off of a victim and several 'carries' -including table/door, blanket, chair and over the shoulder.

The next morning was the practical part!  They got to put their gear on and go in for a rescue!  

After they all made a recovery effort, the real deal showed them how it was done....

Including what to do when your partner goes down.

Great class and I truly appreciate all that helped make it happen!!  We will be putting the class on again!!
